When we talk about fresh from the kitchen we mean right in our store. For example, in our meat department we cut our own beef. No saws or Styrofoam in this place. We use sharpened knives (daily) to cut the meat to order. Our ground beef is simply amazing. We marinate it with flavor to capture more of the essence of the "natural beef". In addition, we are concerned about travel time to our store so many of our products are grown or produced right in our own backyard in the San Jose area. Value. This basically means our competitors buy in bulk and may decide to select grades of produce and meat "sight unseen". At Zanotto's we buy "first pick". Our buyer personally stands at the dock inspecting all merchandise as it is received. He has over 30 years of experience. In fact, the legacy has been passed down from his dad who did this for over 50 years! We get three to four shipments a week depending on demand. You can't beat us when it comes to quality.
